Manage birthdays on your calendar

You can keep track of upcoming birthdays using Google Calendar. You can create, hide, or change the color of birthdays on your calendar.

  • The birthday information syncs with your calendar when you add a person and include their birthday in Google Contacts.
  • You can edit or remove birthday information about the person in the Contacts app for Android or Google Contacts.
  • If you want notifications about a specific birthday, you can create a birthday event on your calendar.
  • You can do these actions for manually created birthdays, but not for birthdays imported from Google Contacts:
    • Turn on notifications.
    • Delete them.
    • Add individual colors.
  • You can hide all birthdays on your calendar. This hides both manually created birthdays and those imported from Google Contacts.
