If you notice a suspicious invitation or event on your calendar, report it as spam.
Step 1: Report the event as spam
Important:
- To report an event as spam, it must have been sent from Google Calendar. Calendar events created by another provider, app or service can't be reported as spam.
- If you report an event, the event will be removed from your calendar. If the event recurs, all events in the series will be removed.
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- Click the event that you want to report.
- At the top right, click More actions
Report as spam.
Step 2: Change event permissions
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- At the top right, click Settings

- In the 'General' tab, click Event settings
Add invitations to my calendar.
- Select Only if the sender is known.
- This adds an event to your calendar only if the sender is in your contacts, part of your organisation or someone that you've interacted with.
- This option might reveal to senders that they aren't in your contacts.
