Why is Google asking me to verify ownership of my business - again?

I tried to log into the Google Manager and it was forcing me to go through verification - again. Last year, we went through the process of having a postcard sent to verify. As our business is in the desert and the address is "Sam Sand Dunes, Jaisalmer" it unsurprisingly never arrived. Our business was verified in the end through phone calls, after many weeks. 

Now Google is once again asking us to go through verification, which is very frustrating. Why has Google asked for verification again? 

Secondly, I submitted a request to Google regarding this issue on 5 June, nearly 3 weeks ago, and I have received no response.

Please include the following with your question, along with a full screenshot of the info tab from your dashboard:
1. Full business name
2. Current business address
3. Google Maps URL
4. Website (if applicable)

Hello,

How do I contact the GMB team directly?  I have now submitted 2 requests:

Message to GMB 5 June 2020 - no response
No response, so I posted on this community forum
No resolution, advised to contact GMB
Message to GMB 2 July 2020 - no response

This remains unresolved for 5 weeks. Is it possible to get this resolved? Can someone at Google please help me, contact me??

I have followed your instructions above. I clicked on the link "Talk to a specialist' and received no reply. I posted and sent a message on Google Facebook and received an automated message saying "Social support is temporarily unavailable" due to COVID19. I don't have a Twitter account.

It is now nearly 8 weeks since I submitted my problem and I still have no resolution.

Please can I get some help and get this resolved.

I have been trying to get his resolved for 9 weeks now and I am not receiving responses from Google Business or a specialist. How can I get this resolved?

What exactly happened when you clicked on Talk to a specialist?

I was directed to this link https://support.google.com/business/gethelp?visit_id=637305243285130881-189418890&rd=1 and I submitted my request. That was on 17 July 2020.

Hi Hasem Khan,
 
Google My Business support can have quite a backlog at times. At the moment all that I can advise is patience - please do not create multiple reports for the same issue, this will just make the backlog worse.
