I’m trying to verify my business for the google business service I just set up. I need to verify the address, however it will not allow me to change the country to Canada.

Yep  this  is  intended.
GMB listings  have  always  be  stick  to its country
you can't move  a  listing from  one to an other  contry as  well.

I can advice you to create another /new/ listing in Canada, and after that to contact GMB to merge the both listing and to use this in Canada.

Hi Helmut Geissler 

My business was based in Isle of Man, UK.  Now we have moved from the UK to Canada. Now I am not able to change my address. It shows "Enter Valid address". 

Please assist me to change my address, as I have changed it on my website. 

What can I do to change the address on google business?

Hi John Carry,

At the top of this thread, in the original post, you will see a button labelled "Subscribe".  You can click that to be notified each time a post is added to this thread.

The answer you are looking for has already been posted here!  Bottom line: You can't move a GMB listing across countries so you'll have to create a new one.

If you would like support for your specific case please start a new thread.

I need to verify my account as well, the country is fixed Mexico and I need to Change it to Nigeria. I don't know what to do I've been awake all night trying to find solution to this problem.

The basic information changed will shown and works at the same district or city, but you can't to do that with national scale... GMB created for local business, so the best way to solve is to make another listing again with the correct information then request the verification

At the moment, I can only verify businesses in Israel.
I plan to visit America and England in the near future, can I ask permission to add these countries to my list of countries?
