I would like to address two things.
First, assistance with your current situation. Do you have more details you can share, including a Case ID#? Knowing more specifics could help us point you in the right direction. Until then, here are a couple things to consider.
- How far away are your locations from each other? If they are too close or in the same building (related businesses), you may experience some difficulty with that.
- Have you built out directories for each location or do most of your citations point to one location? You may benefit from setting up social media accounts or directories for each location.
It sounds to me like Google is combining your locations into the one profile that has been verified.
Secondly, I want to address your post title. The Google Business Profile (GBP) is an amazing resource developed by Google to help small businesses like ours. They are not bad, just difficult at times. The answer to why is that unscrupulous people will take over or manipulate your profile if given the chance. The reason it is difficult is to help prevent fraud and disinformation, with the well-being of the business owner and their clients in mind.
It is frustrating. I struggled with mine for months due to mistakes others made that affected my business. I get it. Hang in there GNG. The GBP Community will help you get through this.

Hey GNG,
To add to Geoff's response, can you please provide the following:
- screenshot of https://business.google.com/locations
- screenshot of the google listing that's not verified - it'd need to be multiple screenshots as i'd like to see every field that you've filled out, please
- any other emails or alerts you've seen like this
- for good measure, please share a screenshot of this - https://myaccount.google.com/restrictions
Thanks,
Ehab
