Missing Reviews For The Last 3 Months With No Explanation

Hello! I work at Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo, and prior to 2 months ago, we were receiving multiple reviews every week. We noticed last week that we hadn't received a single review in the last two months and we found that a weird anomaly.

I reached out to GMB Support and received this email:
Hello,
We reserve the right to disable certain user-generated contributions for individual Business Profiles and business categories. Some Business Profiles have been temporarily disabled from adding new reviews or replies to reviews. We are closely monitoring affected Business Profiles but are not able to provide an estimate on when we can restore the functionality.
Regards,
The Google Team

We're a bit confused as this doesn't give any explanation as to what the problem is, if we can fix it, etc. I've read through some of these help questions and see that some business categories are prohibited from getting reviews, but I'm not seeing anything about zoos specifically. If anyone is able to shed some light as to why we aren't getting reviews, and potentially have a solution, that would be amazing.

While getting our Google business profile link, I also discovered that my edits to our special hours (veteran's day and christmas) weren't approved.

It could be any number of things.

Have you been under any sort of social media/you tube inspired attack by animal rights activists?

It could just be that Google thinks you are getting too many reviews in too short of a time.

Are you in contact with other zoos/petting zoos in texas to see if anything similar has happended to them? Sometimes Google limits whole categories across the US

We aren't aware of any attacks on us so most likely not that. I could see potentially Google thinking we're getting too many at once. I do remember being a bit confused after a weekend where we got an overwhelming number of them in a few hour time period. Contacting other zoos around the area is a good idea, I'll look into that.

Thanks for your help.
