Negative Review Violates Google's Contribution Guidelines
Someone in California posted a 1-star review of our Michigan business with no text. We have no record of this person ever being a client of ours, and when we replied to the review asking for some context to better understand their negative rating, they did not reply. How is this supposed to help us improve if we don't know who they are, what they experienced, or what went wrong/can be improved? I reported the review for Fake Engagement as the review is not based on a real experience and does not accurately represent our location, business, or service. Google denied my request, and offers no avenue to appeal or communicate about their decision. What do we do now? It's the only negative review we have ever received.
"Contributions to Google Maps should reflect a genuine experience at a place or business. Fake engagement is not allowed and will be removed.
