How to Verify online business, if only mailing address is PO Box? 0 Recommended Answers 3 Replies 86 Upvotes
Hi all,
I would like to verify my business on Google. However, it only offers the mail option, where a PO Box address is not allowed.
I do not have a storefront, but only an online store. My workshop is at my home address, but the South African Post Office does not deliver mail in this area. Therefore, I only have a PO Box.
How can I verify my business? Can somebody enable other ways of verification (google search, call, text, video chat)?

Please refer to their GMB Guidelines to understand that your business doesn't qualify for any kind of GMB listing.
You don't fit this main condition:
Eligible businesses
In order to qualify for a Google My Business listing, a business must make in-person contact with customers during its stated hours.

Thank you very much for your reply. I do receive clients here every now and then, but it is only some local people from my city. Lots of people throughout the country receive their goodies via couriers. However, as items are made to order, we do not advertise an address as there is nothing to pre-view. I hope this makes sense. Do you think the store still is not eligible for GMD?
