Hello, 
I handle the reviews for JES Foundation Repair and there is a particular reviewer that continues to re-post the same negative review for the past two years. My team and I have determined that this reviewer is not a customer and is a competitor. I have flagged his reviews several times and it will not get removed. Is there any way I can have this reviewer banned from posting fake reviews on our Google My Business?

Hi Joy, 

Thank you for responding. Matt has recycled the same review 8 or more times in the past few years by simply tweaking a period or a letter to ensure it's considered a newer review and positioned at the top of the recent reviews list. At this point, it appears he wants to harass the integrity the company's reputation. 

What is the course of action I can take regarding this situation?

Hello Lea,
Google does require "proof".

The first step in order to get a review removed, first flag the review inside the Google My Business dashboard and wait three days.  After logging into your Google My Business account, go to the below link, to use Review Removal Requests at: https://support.google.com/business/workflow/9945796

After waiting 3 days, you can contact Google here if you have proof that it violates Google guidelines
