Hi everyone!

I work for a company with 16 different service locations (care homes), headquarters and a training academy. Locations for the majority of these services have been added to Google Maps as businesses, and we would now like to go through the process of claiming them and verifying them.

Unaware of this beforehand, I got over halfway through until I was taken to a page that said there's a limit to how many businesses I can create on one Google account "in a given time period", and there was also information about bulk verification.

What is this "given time period"? Or is bulk verification the only way for businesses with multiple locations to verify them all?

To note, we have opted to use the postcard method, so none of the current locations are verified yet as we have not received them in the post yet.

*EDIT: I have checked my locations on my GMB account and now 12 show to be going through the verification process. - Am not sure what this means for the 10 locations cap?

Hi Rebecca,
Bulk verification is the best practice for 10+ locations and has several benefits of going through the process. For instance, once you are bulk verified it becomes MUCH easier to add new locations in the future.
