If Google believes you’re a potential business owner or manager, you may occasionally get recommendations to manage that Business Profile on Google.

You can add your business on Google at no charge. After you add your business, you can use Google’s tools to help expand your online presence. Google’s tools include functions like replying to reviews, an online product catalog, and more.

How recommendations work

Google uses various factors from your Google Account’s Web & App Activity to determine whether to display recommendations. Google also uses these factors to predict whether you may be a business owner, manager, or if you’re otherwise affiliated with a particular business on Google.
Your Google Account’s business personalization settings don’t affect this experience.
