Edit or delete a post on Google

You can edit or delete a post before or after you publish it.

Edit or delete a post on Google My Business

Edit a post
  1. Open Google My Business.
    • If you have multiple locations, open the location you want to manage.
  2. Click Posts
  3. Next to the post you want to edit, click More More and then Edit.
  4. Choose the fields that you want to change, and edit the information.
  5. To get a preview of your updates, click Preview.
    • To make more edits: In the top left, click Back Back, then edit your post.
  6. To publish your edits, in the top right, click Publish.
Delete a post
  1. Open Google My Business.
    • If you have multiple locations, open the location you want to manage.
  2. Click Posts.
  3. Next to the post you want to delete, click More Moreand then Delete.

Edit or delete a post on Google Search

  1. Make sure you're logged in with the account you used to sign up for Google My Business.
  2. To find your Business Profile, search on Google for your exact business name. You can also search for “my business.”
  3. If needed, to update your profile, select View profile.
  4. Click Updates.
  5. Find the post you want to edit or delete.
    • To edit a post, click More More and then Edit.
    • To delete a post, click More More and then Delete.
