Manage requests to link your Google My Business account

If someone wants to advertise your business locations on Google, they can request to link their advertising account to your Google My Business account.

  • Linking to someone's AdWords account lets that person advertise your locations with location extensions.
  • Linking to someone's Merchant Center account lets that person advertise your products with local inventory ads.

When someone's advertising account is linked to your Google My Business account, they'll be able to see and advertise your locations, but they won't be able to edit your business information. An account can be linked to all locations or to a single location group (formerly known as a business account).

Review your link requests

To review and accept requests to link your Google My Business account:

  1. Sign in to Google My Business.
  2. Click the Linked accounts tab.
  3. Under Requests, scroll to the request you'd like to review. You’ll see the requester’s email address that you can use if you want to contact them directly.
  4. Click Approve or Decline.

Unlink an account

Unlinking an advertising account will stop those ads from appearing for the locations in your Google My Business account. Consult with the person who manages that advertising account before unlinking.

To unlink an account from your Google My Business account:

  1. Sign in to Google My Business.
  2. Click the Linked accounts tab.
  3. Under Linked accounts, scroll to the account you'd like to unlink.
  4. Click Unlink.
