Add your business on mobile

Use Google My Business to get a local business, brand, organization, or artist online. When you add your business using Google My Business, you’ll create a Google+ page.

To get started:

  1. Open the Google My Business app or navigate to https://business.google.com on your mobile browser.
    • If this is your first time adding a business to Google, sign in with the Google account you’d like to use to manage your business and touch Continue.
    • If you’ve added a business before, touch the  three dot menu > Create new business.
  2. Choose whether your business operates from a storefront, serves a service area, or as a brand.
    • Storefront: You serve customers at your business location and you want your customers to be able to locate you on Google Maps. In addition, your business information can show up in Google search and you can connect with your customers with your Google+ page.
      • Examples: restaurants, hotels, retail stores
    • Service area: You serve customers at their location within a specific service area and you want your customers to see your service area on Google Maps. In addition, your business information can show up in Google search and you can connect with your customers with your Google+ page.
      • Examples: Plumbers, taxi services, pizza delivery
    • Brands: You want to connect with your fans and followers through your Google+ page. Your page information wouldn’t be connected to a physical location on Google Maps.
      • Examples: Products, musical groups, causes
  3. Enter your business name and information.
    • You may want to access Google My Business on desktop to access more advanced editing features, including adding service-areas. Learn more
  4. Storefront and service area businesses should follow these steps to verify your business information to be eligible to appear on Google Maps.

If you’d like to add many business locations at once, use Google My Business Locations on desktop.
