Verification after information changes

In order to maintain high quality business information, Google may sometimes ask previously verified businesses to verify again. This process can be triggered by a change in the information you’ve given us about your business, such as a change in category or address.

You’ll know you need to verify again if you see the message, “Changes to your business information require verification” or a similar message in the Google My Business web dashboard or in the Google My Business app.

To reverify your business, you'll need to request and enter a new verification code. Please follow the prompts in the Google My Business web dashboard or mobile app to finish reverifying.
