Submit products to Merchant Center

When you add products through the Product Editor in Google My Business, these products are also accessible from Google Merchant Center. In addition, you can submit products to a separate Merchant Center account that can be linked with Google My Business. 


In countries where the Comparison Shopping Service (CSS) program exists, Merchant Center can be used with any CSS. Learn more about advertising with CSS.

How to submit products to Google My Business

Important: CSSs can manage products on Google for merchants only in countries where the CSS program is available.

In CSS program countries, you can use any Comparison Shopping Service to manage the products you submit.

Tip: You can submit product information to both the Product Editor and a manually-linked Merchant Center account. If you submit products through GMB and a manually-linked Merchant Center, the information from manually-linked Merchant Center determines the content in the products section of your Business Profile.

Use the Product Editor

When you submit products in Google My Business, they’re stored in Google Merchant Center.

To review products stored in the Google Merchant Center:

1. Go to Google My Business.

2. In the left menu, click Products.

3. Click More  "" and then Manage in Merchant Center.

This Merchant Center account can be associated with any CSS.

Submit products through a separate Google Merchant Center account

In addition to the current Google Merchant Center, you can manually link any Merchant Center account to Google My Business. If you link a separate Google Merchant Center account, you can also display the products on your Business Profile. You’ll submit product information directly through Merchant Center and not through Google My Business.

Tip: Only the Merchant Center account you manually link to Google My Business is shown in your linked accounts section. If you review the products tab of your Google My Business account, it won’t take you to the Merchant Center account that you manually linked.
