Can No Longer Cut and Paste from Word Doc in New Blogger

Question

Hello. I write my blog posts in Microsoft Word first and then cut and paste the final version into Blogger. I have been doing this for years up until four days ago. Today I went to create a post and when I would copy and paste from MS Word my text would copy to Blogger as an image rather than text. Do you know why this is happening? Thank you.

I agree it's an issue and we have raised the issue with Google Engineering.
It also helps that everyone who has this requirement use the Send Feedback via the Blogger Dashboard. This will let Google know how many people want this feature so that they can prioritize it.

Hi Robert Tomoguchi,
To send feedback and suggestions to the Blogger Team, which is important to get things fixed or working better, is to click on the Question Mark Icon at the top of  the Blogger Dashboard, and then click Send Feedback from the Dropdown.

The Feedback form then loads and allows you to optionally include a screenshot.

If enough people suggest a feature it will improve the chances of Google adding it to their to do list and for bugs they get added to their work queue.

You need to paste in HTML Mode.

To switch modes, click on the little Icon on your Editing Page that is on the far Left that looks like this.

It will allow you to switch modes.
