New blogger interface - aligning pictures is missing 2 Recommended Answers 89 Replies 121 Upvotes

Hi - Thanks for your help in previous issues.

Today I log in and find a new blogger interface - I really don't like it!

I have now been struggling for about an hour to left, or right justify/align an image - when I add the image I normally then click on it again and have options to re-size or align - the new interface just allows me to re-size, and I can find no other way of aligning left or right.

Any ideas?

Hi Dave..

You can send in your feedback to the Team to let them know by using the question mark icon. It helps.

You can always revert to the Classic Blogger UI by clicking the button located bottom left of your dashboard.

Regards.

Same here!. In fact a lot of things seem like "change just for changes sake", but not to make it any better or easier...

I have seen many Top contributors reply to the messages regarding the new version of blogger, suggesting for us to leave feedback.

I've left feedback several times but nothing seems to be any different.

Google currently doesn't reply within this forum to explain they released the new blogger version even when it doesn't work properly on Chrome or any other browser.

I have been using blogger for 9 years and don't wish to move all of my content to Wordpress.

It's unacceptable, if we can't air our frustrations in this forum, where else can we?

Not sure why Joseph you need to slash out your frustrations publically, constructive feedback directly to the Team makes it easier for improvements.

If the changes unacceptable for you, no one is holding you back. You are free to move your contents elsewhere & speech out your views and opinions at your new platform.

Please do not expect that your feedback will be attended to that quick, you also need to expect the thousands of users feedback received by them, let alone other migration currently ongoing.

Are you god?

I have every right to express the shortcomings of the developing new software.

I don't believe I have thrashed anything out, I can use my words properly.

Thanks for your reply,

My tone might be pointed but this seems to be an issue most Google Blogger users are having.

When Google Blogger releases a Beta Interface - and then announces that it is becoming the default in a month's time - AND IT HAS DOZENS OF FAULTS IN IT - AND PROVIDING FEEDBACK IS REALLY DIFFICULT it is not too much to ask that there is a better presence by Google personnel within this Community

Speaking personally I'm going to be doing a long blog post very soon itemising all the faults in this "not ready for release NEW BLOGGER INTERFACE" so as to warn everybody else I know who uses Blogger of the need to start looking at alternatives

For the record I've been blogging on Blogger for 15 years with very few problems - which is why I have always stayed and always recommended it to others as a really easy and efficient product to use which rarely has problems

During that time I've had written over 3.5k posts and had 15 million pageviews.
It's a very big deal to me to have to start contemplating moving a blog because Google cannot be bothered to provide proper customer services for one of its main products.

Wordpress must be laughing their socks off!!

Sorry I am human just like you.

There are many channel to express your opinions, but to make it easier on everyone why not tell it directly to Team the issues, so they can, hopefully make the software improvements.

I believe that i was never against your tone or replies, as everyone has the rights to speak out publicaly.

I was providing you & users options, ways for you or everyone to get through this. If the current issues is unacceptable, users have the rights to move too.

Google and Blogger know what they need to do.

I maintain that the vast majority of users who are having these issues will agree with me.

I have already reported what needs to be enhanced.

If there was a logical way to speak with a Blogger rep then I'd gladly communicate with a professional and cordial tone.

Until the issues expressed regarding 'editing and viewing the preview mode' have been solved, I will maintain a presence in this forum.

I am not using abusive language and you are not an employee of Blogger/Google neither are you part of the feedback.

Please believe its unbelievably frustration for those with your status in this forum to keep tell us lower being that we need to lodge our software grievances within the 'feedback' function, they won't response nor will we find out when these simple issues will be sorted.
