Although there is no official answers from Blogger team regarding the num of chars for posts, but based on user's experiences here, if the post texts/contents is too large, you may have issues when editing & viewing.
This you can definitely experience when you copy and paste texts directly to your post editor without removing the pasted texts formats.
By doing so the texts/contents becomes large and you may have issues with Blogger pagination. Useful reads: https://blogger.googleblog.com/2010/02/auto-pagination-on-blogger.html
