Secure Widget/Gadget "Last Comments"
I'm not sure if my current gadget "Last Comments" is safe too.
Therefore I would like to ask you if you can recommend me a secure gadget - possibly checked by Blogger.

Hi Gerhard Hallstein ,
Blogger used to have lots of widgets in the past under More Gadgets, but since most of the widgets were abusing the blogs, they had to kick out all the gadgets except the ones made by Blogger.
Here's how you can use a Blogger's own features to show recent comments;
Go to Layout > Add Gadget > select Feed gadget and paste this as Feed URL: https://gerhardsgedankenbuch.blogspot.com/feeds/comments/default
That widget will now display the recent comments

Hi Gerhard Hallstein ,
We or Blogger cannot vouch for security of third party codes. They may be inserting ads in your blog without you even realizing it.
It is best to stay with the gadgets and widgets that Blogger provides. You can find them in Layout > Add Gadgets.

I know that, but there are only 26 gadgets there and no way to choose any more.
In the past there was a gadget "Last Comments" under "More Gadgets". For this reason I have also asked here.
Can you recommend a gadget of a third party or one that you know?

First,
That widget using non secure http connection. (you can see by inspect source code).
Better thing is using default blogger widget.
But.
You seeing that there is not recent comment widget.
It is not a problem.
Locate feed widget and as URL post this:
https://blogname.blogspot.com/feeds/comments/defaultwhere is blogname name of your blog.After that, you can apply some CSS style to look preatty.Last edited Aug 15, 2019

It shouldn't take more than few hours.
Blogger automatically caches your blog pages for efficiency and best performance and hence there may be some delay.
