Profile picture appearing blurry?

My profile picture has suddenly starting appearing very blurry and pixelated... I was adjusting my widths before I noticed it so I don't know if that had something to do with it, but I have tried setting the widths to default and re-uploading my Google+ photo several times, yet it still appears pixelated. It only looks like this on my blog, not my gmail or any other Google area. I've tried opening it in incognito windows as well as deleting my cookies, but haven't had any luck.

Hi, I have the same bug in several blogs so I guess it's a temporal bug (at least that is what I hope), I noticed that the gadget is using a 80px x 80px version of the photos and stretching them, even if the photos are big enough.

I appreciate any suggestions to fix this, or at least the confirmation that is a temporal bug.

Hello ladies,

Elle, source is blurred: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-dPhMm_sGhCY/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAUI/wzeK1FHNAII/s512-c/photo.jpg (512px)
on your google plus profile is the same photo, but smaller version: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-dPhMm_sGhCY/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAUI/wzeK1FHNAII/s120-c/photo.jpg (120px)

Maira, your photo is to small - it should be at least 512x512px.
Your profile1 gadget loads 80px version: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/--t7AF5ic8SU/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAABdY/NVygcXhhthA/s80-c/photo.jpg and you enlarge it to 200px in CSS:

img.profile-img {
height: 200px;
padding: 0;
width: 200px;
}

Thanks for your time, the photo I'm using is bigger than 80 x 80 but for some reason that is the size that Google+ is using, you can see that the orginal size is 250 x 250 (https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-fNJQYrlas_Y/U0B6ZGyV79I/AAAAAAAABdY/kx7NX7CJXkE/perfil03.png) and it was working ok until a few days ago.

Now, I uploaded a bigger pic (3168 x 3168) and the result is the same, this is the original photo that has been resized by Google+ (https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-9As_U2oG1tg/VAHvRqA4P8I/AAAAAAAACn4/8iC8hxaZnRY/s685-no/IMG_535602.jpg), and this is the photo that Google+ uses to show on the profile (http://lh5.googleusercontent.com/--t7AF5ic8SU/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAABdY/NVygcXhhthA/s80-c/photo.jpg).

No, those images have different urls ('parameters') = different files.
--t7AF5ic8SU + QVbP0egKL3k + photo.jpg + size s120-c
original size is 2043x2043
same 'parameters' on blog, but s80-c

Maybe template have old/own code. Try install google plus profile gadget again (layout tab).

Yes, I know Google is resizing the photo, but why is SUDDENLY using an 80px photo? Any idea?

I checked some other blogs using the same template and/or profile gadget CSS style and everything looks normal, with the difference that they use the Blogger profile instead of Google+ profile:
