Get better search results on Blogger

Search operators are now available to better filter the Posts and Pages views on Blogger. Use these search terms together to filter results even more.

Use Search operators

  1. Go to the "Posts" or "Pages" view in Blogger.
  2. In the search box, enter one of the Search operators below.

Tip: After you use a Search operator, you can find your search results again later if you save the browser's URL address.

What you can search by Search operator Examples
Sort the results

sort:

Values: created, published, updated

Add a minus sign to reverse order

sort:-published

Start for a given position

index:

The default start index position is 0.

index:500 to ignore the first 500 records in the list and return records 501, 502, 503 ...

Filter by status

status:

Values: draft, published, scheduled

If you don't include a value in your search, all items will show up. scheduled is only available for posts

status:draft

Search by author

author:

author:amy

Search for words in the post title

title:

title:dinner

Search for words in the post body

body:

body:afternoon

Search for posts by labels

label:

label:friends

Search for terms with multiple words
