Use Dark theme in Bard

You can switch between a dark theme and light theme in Bard. By default, the color scheme for Bard matches the color scheme of the device you’re on.

Switch between dark & light themes

When you switch color schemes, your preference is saved for the next time you open Bard on the same browser and device.

1. On your computer, go to bard.google.com.
2. At the top right, click Settings .
3. Switch between color schemes:
   • For Dark theme: click Use dark theme .
   • For Light theme: click Use light theme .
