Google made some updates to cookie matching and you may need to update your cookie matching integration.
Starting January 1st with California and Virginia and throughout 2023 for other affected US States (Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah):
- Google must host the cookie match table
- Google will no longer send
google_gidin the cookie match requests
The announced policy changes to cross-context behavioral advertising do not impact cookie matching. Note that the use of cookie matching data in an ad serving product is subject to that product's terms.
