Due diligence on new ad tags

We recommend that you check each ad tag received from a new or potential advertiser.

Here is a suggested best practice:

  1. Copy the tag from the advertiser and test it on a static HTML page.
  2. Use an HTTP monitoring utility such as Firebug, Charles, or HttpFox to verify the calls made from the ad.
  3. Confirm that calls are made from only the Approved Vendor List or your own certified technology vendor.

To submit a vendor for certification, please contact your account team to ensure that they meet technical and business requirements to run in our system.
