When an agency creates an auction package, they need to activate it in the demand-side platform (DSP). If the agency is using Display & Video 360 as their DSP, there are two options.
- Activate a deal or auction package when the central partner ID is available
- Activate a deal or auction package when the central partner ID isn’t available
Activate a deal or auction package when the central partner ID is available
The central partner ID is optional, however, we recommend adding a central partner ID if you have a Display & Video 360 central partner account that you’ll use to manage incoming deal negotiations.
With a Display & Video 360 central partner ID set, the deal negotiations only show up in the central partner account, and can be further permissioned to other managed Display & Video 360 partners in the Display & Video 360 user interface.
Note: If you're unsure whether you have a central partner account, reach out to your Display & Video 360 team.
Set a central partner ID in a level 1 agency seat
- Navigate to "DSPs & accounts" in your agency seat.
- Click Connect DSPs, and then Display & Video 360.
- Click the pencil icon to input your central partner ID.
Note: The agency must have admin access to the central partner ID or they will get an error in the Display & Video 360 user interface that prevents them from permissioning the deal to partner seats.
- Follow instructions for creating an auction package or accepting a deal in your agency seat. Wait 30 minutes for the deal or auction package to appear in the central partner account.
- Log into Display & Video 360 central partner account.
- Navigate to "My Inventory." The new auction package is visible. Click the deal or auction package.
- Go to "Access," and then “Partner and Advertisers.”
- Select the partners and advertisers you want to share the deal with. Click Save.
- Users within the individual partner IDs that you’ve shared the deal with can now view and target the deal in their Line Item settings. Learn more about managing a deal.
Activate a deal or auction package when the central partner ID isn’t available
Note: The user must have administrator permissions for all mapped seats in Display & Video 360 to give permission to any seat.

- Log into Display & Video 360 advertiser or partner account.
- Navigate to "My Inventory" and click Negotiations.
- Choose the negotiated deal you want to accept.

Note: If the agency doesn’t have admin access to all DSP seats mapped to an agency seat, they receive an error message. If this occurs, contact agency support.
