Hi Dannielle,
The Google Home doesn't support audible audiobooks natively because Amazon doesn't allow it however you should still be able to cast these from your phone if the app is cast enabled or if not open the Google Home app > tap on the "Account" icon bottom right > Mirror device.
Regards,
Cathal

1. Make sure you are connected to the same network as your Google Home device
2. On your Android open "Settings" and search for "Cast"
3. Select the Google Home device you wish to hear your Audible book on
4. Open Audible and play

In my case, I wanted to be able to say "Okay Google, Audible Time" when I have my phone in the car so that it would start playing my Audible Audio Book without me needing to touch my phone (Safety first).
Here's how it works:
- The "Audible Time" command is set up as a Routine in the Google Home app, which which will send the action "Ask AutoVoice Audible Time".
- The "Ask AutoVoice Audible Time" command will connect to my AutoVoice account, and send in the command "Audible Time" to AutoVoice. (see this video for instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q21X3wVAXI8)
- The "Audible Time" command in AutoVoice is connected to a Tasker profile that will open Audible and disconnect and reconnect the Bluetooth, which will trigger the Audible app to start playing on my Bluetooth device.
These actions all happen almost instantaneously in the background. So in summary, I say "Okay Google, Audible Time", Tasker brings up the Audible app, there is a short delay while the task disconnects and reconnects the Bluetooth, and Audible will automatically start playing my most recent audiobook. Success!
How to set it up:
- Make sure Tasker installed on your phone (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm&hl=en_US)
- Make sure AutoVoice is installed on your phone (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joaomgcd.autovoice&hl=en_US)
- Linking AutoVoice to your Google Assistant account: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaCQMjPllno
- Create a new profile in tasker following the instructions in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q21X3wVAXI8
- Command: audible time
- Response: okay starting audible
- Create a new task for the profile with the following four actions:
- Launch the Tasker App
- Turn off Bluetooth
- Wait 2 seconds
- Turn on Bluetooth
- Back out of the task, and the profile in Tasker to save the changes.
- Test out the new Tasker profile with the command "Ok Google, Ask AutoVoice Audible Time".
- If this works, open the Google Home app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.chromecast.app&hl=en_US)
- Press the "Routines" option on the main screen
- Select the "Manage routines" option at the bottom
- Click the "+ Add a routine" link on the screen, and set up the following:
- When I say "Audible Time"
- Assistant will "Ask AutoVoice Audible Time"
- Save the routine, close Google Home, and give it a test by saying "Ok Google, Audible Time"

Instead we have to break the protection and upload it to Google play music. Madness.

Unfortunately I don't think it will ever happen. Amazon wants you to use Echos, not google homes, so they hope if you want this feature, you will buy Amazon Echos and fire TVs.
