Hi there, I'm having some issues making the google assistant work over bluetooth. First of all, it works, that's not the question. It works on a bluetooth external speaker and it works in my car (bluetooth connection). But the weirdest thing is, that when I ask the assistant something, he recognizes my request and then he tells the answer. Only, I don't hear the answer. I see that he is talking (the icon is pulsing). I recently discovered that it has to do with the "OK Google" detection via bluetooth. Once I turned that item off in the Assistant, I heard him loud and clear. But "OK Google" detection no longer works via bluetooth in my car then. If I want Google's attention, I need to pause the music (playing via bluetooth). Only then he hears me.
What is even more strange, is that the google detection via bluetooth in my car works AND is audible - when I don't use Android Auto. When I use Andoid Auto, I do not hear the answers. I tested on the bluetooth speakers and I have the same result when using Android Auto in my car.
I'm puzzled... For now, I use the bluetooth workaround (I mentioned earlier), it's better to hear the Assistants answers than nothing at all. And I don't want to quit using the Android Auto app either - for safety reasons.
I use Android 7.1.1 on a Wiko U Feel Prime device, in US English.
Thanks a lot for the help!
