why does my google assistant let everyone access my devices? 1 Recommended Answer 3 Replies 13 Upvotes
i just got a google home today. When setting it up, i quite by accident, discovered that the voice recognition on my phone, and my google home does not work. I can access it, but so can EVERYBODY else. It responds as if everyone and their brother who says "ok Google" is me. Even as far as calling them by MY name. I have set up my voice, and when trying to retrain it to recognize my voice, it states it is already set up. This is not secure at all. Anyone can access my supposedly secure accounts just by saying "ok Google"
