How to fix nickname bug?

A few months ago, I changed my nickname on on my private account to something I only wanted to last a week, but when I went to change it back, It said I couldn't change my nickname more than 3 times in 90 days, even though I had only ever done it once. So I waited it out and finally got it to change back after 90 days, but now, and I have no idea how, but the nickname I did not want to keep has now transferred over to my school email, which is not good, and when I go to settings to change it, it says it is just my name, like normal, but on the emails I have sent in the last two days, It appears with the old nickname and I am completely lost as to how to solve this issue

You can change the name your Google Assistant calls you

Or are you trying to change your Gmail name in Google accounts NOT Google Account username or email address?

Changing the name displayed with your email address

For example, changing your name from Ben <-your Google Account username @gmail.com> to Joe < Google Account username @gmail.com>

Click the gear in the top right of your Gmail page.
Select Settings.
Click the Accounts tab.
In the “Send mail as:” section, click edit info next to the address.
In the “Name:” section, specify what you’d like your name to be and click Save changes.

Hi. I have tried everything to get my nickname to work in google assistant. Nothing helps. How do i fix this? Thank you
