"Access with Voice Match" greyed out (this feature is currently unavailable for this language) Nokia 7 Plus, AndroidOne, Android 9, all up-to-date. Have tried all the workarounds, cleared the cache, rebooted the phone etc. Languages: English Australia, English UK, English US.  :(

Xiaomi mi a2 same problem . microphone works . assistant is on but I have to touch the button in order to Google can take my command

Seems to have happened right after installing the latest security update.

Same problem with my Xiaomi Mi A2, looks like the issue started after the last update I received yersterday. Language: Spanish (Spain)

Hi Krishnaraj R.P,

Thank you!  Fixed it.

My Moto G6 (Amazon Prime Exclusive model, using the AMZ software channel) was working fine on 8.0.  When I updated to 9.0 the described problem occurred -- greyed out vice match.

I even did a factory reset, and Google Assistant worked for a while but then quit.

I had English US set on all of the places you noted.  However, just visiting those places to check my language made the option selectable.  Now working.  Thank you again!
