Buy physical goods with your Google Assistant device

You can buy items like household supplies using the Google Assistant on your speaker, Smart Display, or Smart Clock. To buy items, you need to live in the continental U.S.

Find stores you can buy from on Google Shopping.

Step 1: Turn on personalization

When this setting is on, your Google Assistant can read info like your shopping list and help you with payments.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Home app .
2. At the bottom, tap Home .
3. Select your device.
4. At the top right, tap Device settings Recognition & personalization.
   • If you don’t find “Recognition & personalization,” first tap Recognition & sharing.
5. Turn on Allow personal results.

Step 2: Set up payments

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Home app .
2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial Assistant settings.
3. Tap You Payments.
4. Follow the steps to set your payment and delivery info.

Step 3: Shop for items

Add items to your cart

1. Say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google."
2. Say what you want to add, for example:
   • Add [product] to my cart.
   • Add [product] from [store] to my cart.

You can view your cart on the Google Shopping site or in the Google Shopping app on your phone.

Buy a single item

This feature isn't available on Smart Clocks.

1. Say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google."
2. Say what you want to buy, for example:
   • Buy [product].
   • Order [product].
   • Buy [product] from [store].
   • Order [product] from [store].
   • Reorder [product]. (You can reorder items in your Google Shopping order history.)

Delivery times & costs

• Delivery costs: When you meet an order minimum, you get free shipping. Learn more about shipping costs.
• Delivery times: At checkout, you'll find options for delivery timeframe and speeds that depend on your delivery address and the store that ships your order. Learn more about delivery options.

Cancel an order

1. Go to Google Shopping.
2. At the top left, tap Menu   Orders.
3. Check the status of your order or cancel your order (if this option is available).
