With your Google Assistant, you can set your payment information and delivery address for groceries and other items that you purchase.
- To make purchases, you need to live in the US.
- These payment settings apply to all of your Google Assistant devices.
How to set your payment and delivery info
- On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings".
- Tap You Payments.
- Tap Get started.
- Read the Terms of Service tap Accept.
- To choose or enter your payment method and delivery address, follow the on-screen instructions.
- Tap Done.
Turn payments on or off
- On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings".
- Under "Popular settings", tap You Payments.
- Turn Pay through your Assistant on or off.
Approve purchases with your fingerprint, face or Voice Match
Step 1: Choose if you want to approve purchases
When you pay via your Google Assistant, you can verify purchases with your password, fingerprint, face or Voice Match.
- On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings".
- Tap You Payments.
- Turn on Verify that it's you before paying.
Important: If you turn off Verify that it's you before paying, payments can be made without authentication.
Step 2: Choose how you want to approve purchases
If you don't use your fingerprint, face or Voice Match, you'll be asked to approve purchases with your Google Account password.
- On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings".
- Under "Popular settings", tap You Payments.
- Decide how you want to approve purchases.
- With your fingerprint or face: Turn Confirm with fingerprint or face on.
- With Voice Match: Turn Confirm with Voice Match on.
Change your payment or delivery info
- On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings".
- Under "Popular settings", tap You Payments.
- From here you can either:
- Tap Payment method, then choose or add a card.
- Tap Delivery address, then choose or add an address.
