Buy physical goods on your phone

You can buy items, like groceries and household supplies, using the Google Assistant on your phone. To buy items, you need to live in the continental U.S.

Add items to your cart

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, touch and hold the Home button or say "Ok Google."
  2. Say or type what you want to add:
    • Add [product] to my cart.
    • Add [product] from [store] to my cart.
  3. Select an item and then Add to cart.
  4. To add another item, say or type what you want to add.
  5. To complete your purchase, tap Check out.
  6. Confirm your delivery and payment info and then Place order.

Buy a single item

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, touch and hold the Home button or say "Ok Google."
  2. Say or type what you want to buy:
    • Buy [product].
    • Order [product].
    • Buy [product] from [store].
    • Order [product] from [store].
    • Reorder [product]. (You can reorder items in your Google Express order history.)
  3. Tap the item you want to buy and then Buy now.
  4. Confirm your delivery and payment info and then Place order.

Buy items from your shopping list

You can order items directly from a shopping list you created with your Assistant. Learn more about how to create a shopping list.

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, touch and hold the Home button or say "Ok Google."
  2. Say or type "Show me my shopping list."
  3. At the bottom, tap View list and then Shop your list.
  4. You’ll see results for each item on your list.
  5. To add an item to your cart:
    • Tap Add to cart
    • Or tap an item for more details, then tap Add to cart
  6. To check out, tap Shopping cart Shopping cart and then Go to checkout.
  7. Confirm your delivery and payment info, then tap Place order.

Set your payment & delivery info

When buying an item, you’ll be asked to turn on the payments setting if it’s off. Learn how to turn on payments or set your payment and delivery info.

Track, cancel, or return an order

  1. Open the Google Express app.
  2. At the top left, tap Menu Menu and then Orders.
  3. Check the status of your order, cancel your order (if this option is available), or request a return.
