Important: Google Assistant features with headphones will change for iPhone and iPad users on December 7, 2021.
What’s changing
After December 7, on iPhones and iPads, you'll no longer be able to use the following Assistant headphone features:
- Hear Spoken Announcements of incoming phone notifications.
- Talk to the Assistant when you hold the Assistant button on your headphones.
Non-Assistant features (including Siri) will still be available on your headphones.
Google Assistant headphones features will continue to be available any time your headphones are connected to a supported Android phone or tablet.
