What is "freezing" a column
You can "freeze" a column so that it stays in place on the screen while you scroll horizontally. This is useful if you need to keep some information in view when you have a lot of columns, so that you can easily identify which row of information you are looking at.
When you freeze a column, it affects the view configuration and you can save the view config to persist the frozen columns.
How to freeze a column
1. Open the context menu for the column by right-clicking or hovering over and clicking on the three dots in the column header.
2. Select "freeze column", and then scroll horizontally.
3. To unfreeze a column, open the context menu again and select "unfreeze columns".
