Google assistant says "Something went wrong, please try again" for all commands and apps
Whenever I give a command, Google recognizes what I say, but then says "something went wrong, please try again". It says the same when I touch the weather app. It was working for months and then suddenly stopped last week. I tried uninstalling the android auto app and reconnecting my phone as well as clearing out the cache on the Google apps.

Same on LG Velvet. I was going to trash the phone and go to a Samsung. Probably not worth it. One reason I bought the new car I did was the supposed Android Auto compatibility. Subaru dealer won't even try to be helpful. BIG disappointment. And clearly AA doesn't care, based on the responses to this thread.
I'm having the same problem on Android Auto with my Galaxy S 21 when plugged in or on Bluetooth. When on Bluetooth it first says "you must unlock your phone ". This never happened with my old phone. It must be Android 11 or the Galaxy S21 that introduced the problem. Any solutions?

Just got an email about a problem i had. (I can't even remember when). The problem was resolved, or everything started working properly again a long time ago. No idea how or why at this point, so.... thanks? I guess?
