After installing Android Auto, I installed Rocket Play (from Google Play), but it doesn't show in app list. Only Google Play Music and Google Podcasts show in the lists. What could be wrong?

I'm having the same problem. I downloaded Spotify and Podbean, both are supposed to be compatible with Android Auto, but they don't show up in Android Auto, either in the phone app or my car screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Android Auto, which didn't help.

I have the same thing now I have changed phones idk why this is happening.  Even tried reinstalling android auto and restarting the phone nothing! This is frustrating I like being able to navigate music and autable on my car screen, much safer which is the whole point.

Same issue. No audible, no other media apps aside from google apps. I've seen a couple threads like this, dating back to mid/late April. With only one receiving a response.

Alright, after massaging this a little this morning, I found a thread on reddit. A guy 10 days ago had the same issue as all of us.

1) Open Android Auto
2) Open the hamburger menu (three lines, top left)
3) Click on "about"
4) Tap the "about android auto" header 10 times, to enable developer mode
4a) you'll get a notification that developer mode has been enabled, if you do it right
5) Tap the three dots in the top right of the screen
6) Tap "Developer Settings" and then scoll down and check "Unknown Sources"
7) Exit out of android auto, re-enter. Your media apps should be visible now.

I have the S10 as well, so this did not work...However I stumbled across this. Under settings Tap "version and permission" info 6 times to open developer settings.
