How do i stop an app from auto starting when i start android auto?

I listened to SiriusXM - now every time I plug my phone in the car - Sirius starts up - how do I stop this! I disabled auto start last app and it still starts!

Go to Android Auto > Settings and look at the "Automatically resume media" toggle. Set this to OFF.

Thank you for replying. That was the first thing I did - not helping.... I have restarted the phone - still not helping
