Problem with Everand app

Has anyone else had trouble with the Everand audiobook app?

I've got a Galaxy S20 5G phone running Android 13, with Android Auto installed.  The car is a 2018 Honda CRV. Until this week there was no problem playing audiobooks with Everand in the car. Now the display has disappeared when I'm listening to a book, so there's no pause or play button. The audio still plays, but the display is blank.
Strange.
I did re-install the Everand app on my phone, but that didn't fix it. And the Everand support people have no answer.
Thanks for any help,
Tony

Great, thanks!  Did you contact Android Auto support or Everand support?

I'm having the same issue, I have a pixel 8 pro. I even tried using Waze and that didn't help either.

I'm having the same issue. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in a 24 camry hybrid.

I've opened a ticket with Everand support. They replied and had me try the following. It didn't work for me, but might work for you.

"Here's how to do this:
-Tap on the "Account" icon on the bottom right (the one that looks like a small person)

-Then, select "Downloads" from the list of options
Select "Clear cache"

    - After that, you can exit that screen by tapping the back arrow at the upper left, and you're done!"

Also, they've got an app update coming out shortly that should hopefully fix the issue.

I tried that also, no luck, I would have to think its an Everand update issue, it seemed to star about 2 weeks back for everyone. have a Galaxy S23. Tried clearing cache in both Everand and Android Auto, uninstall and reinstalled both apps, and did a factory rest on Android Auto. Quite Frustrating.
