Android Auto stopped connecting to my car

Somehow, my Android Auto app stopped connecting to my car (2023 Honda HR-V) overnight. When I turn the car on, I get a notification "Looking for Android Auto", but it doesn't find anything. I used to connect wirelessly, now neither wireless, nor wired connections are working. Can still connect my phone via Bluetooth just fine. I am on Pixel 6, Android 13, AA version 9.4.631624-release.

I have tried: clearing out cache for Android Auto and Google Play Services, and restarting my phone (and car) afterwards to no avail.

I have to do this weekly. It is frustrating to need to reset multiple settings in my car because of the app. ( Using Google Pixel pro 7)

I am experiencing the same issue... brand new car, fresh off the factory floor (7 miles on the odometer, so the infotainment is factory reset by default) - wired works, wireless gives me "Looking for Android Auto" notification with grayed out AA logo on infotainment dash.

Same the android auto doesn't recognize my car. I have to go to apps but when I go to see if it's working nothing happens. I cleaned cash and nothing. It's interesting apps section but no android auto turns on.

Same issues with my S21 Ultra. Constant looking for Android Auto notification. Roll backs to older versions only temporarily fix the issue. Eventually even they stop connecting wirelessly to my vehicle.

My 2021 Ram 1500 was working fine with my andriod auto about a day or two ago, now it does not show my Google map, Spotify, etc on the touch screen of the truck anymore. I check the app and it showed the truck but after I removed it, cleared cache and memory, uninstalled and reinstalled android auto it will not find the truck through USB or Bluetooth, however the phone will connect Bluetooth and work for the phone calls just fine but that is it. The truck is now telling me that my phone is not a compliant device now if I hard wire with the USB and disconnect the Bluetooth.

*update*

I cleared cache and memory for android auto, uninstalled the recent version, rebooted my phone and truck then plugged my phone into the truck (I made sure to shut off and restart the truck). Once I did the android auto identified the truck and stated to update the app, (warning the truck still stated the phone was not compliant and I hit ok while the app was updating) after I updated the app (while still plugged in) the app started working again on my truck showing Google maps, Spotify, and my phone again. Downside, I had to change all the settings to how I had it before but seems to be working now.

You have to go to your phone settings then search for android auto (or go to settings, connected devices, and near the bottom should be android auto).

In my case, it connects the first time. However, if I leave the car for a small period, that's it. Most of the times I must restart the phone in order to reconnect. Or forget device and reconnect via Bluetooth as if first time pairing.

I also have the same problem, wireless AA was working perfectly till update in May and then stopped. When I clear cache and data, it connects one time and next time it won't until I clear cache and data again. Phone is Samsung S22

I also have the same problem, wireless AA was working perfectly till update in May and then stopped. With cable it works perfetly but not in wireless. My phone is a Poco X3 Pro Android 13 - MIUI 14.0.2

How can this be fixed?

My issue is similar. I have a 2019 Honda CR-V. Was working beautifully, but randomly quit working one day. Blue tooth works fine, but the radio will not acknowledge that my phone is plugged in. My wife and have the exact same phones: Samsung S21 5G, bought the same time and updated on the same schedule. Her phone opens android auto as soon as plugged into the cable and works fine!

Same issue, Android Auto is working through USB connection and doesn't work through wireless connection although, my iphone can connect through wireless connection to my car.

My car is Nissan patrol 2023

My phone is Samsung S22 ultra.
