It looks like Android Auto is changing the Phone Design settings Day-/Night-mode in the general System settings.
I am using a OnePlus 7T (Android 10) and by default I am using a Dark-Theme (Night-Mode).
But when I using Android Auto in my Car and I left the Car while the lights are off, my phone will be in Light-Theme.
I guess the issue is related to:
I understand the logic, that the theme switches from Day to Night is triggert by the Car and their Headlights that´s why I don´t simply reply the the linked issue. But I don´t understand why Android Auto is switching the System Theme and not only the "App Theme".
Is there no option that the apps understand that they running under Android Auto so they can use a Android Auto Theme instead of changing the global phone theme?
I didn´t had issues like this on my older OnePlus phones so I guess it is related to Android 10 or a change in the way the OnePlus Launcher is using the themes.
Please help me, I don´t want to switch the theme every day after I was in the Car.
(During the winter time it is not a huge issue because 90% of the time I am driving in the dark with headlight on....)
