Pixel 6 keeps disconnecting with Android Auto? Is there a fix?

I am using the Goolge Pixel cable sold by google to connect to my 2018 Audi MMI system with the pixel 6.  So far no troubleshooting steps have fixed this.   I have turned off battery savings modes, tried 4 other different cables,  reset MMI system on car.  Nothing has worked.  Please send me information on how to send a bug report or what else i can do to fix this issue.

Update: Since google does not appear to want to fix this issue, I have found my own resolution to this.  Use the below adapter with the original USB C to C cable you got with the phone and it will stop disconnecting every few minutes and stay connected as it is suppose to.

If you have a 2017 Audi and up and you are having this issue I have found an adapter on Amazon that seems to work well.

The adapter link is :

Use the original USB c to c cable that came with the phone.

This is my update to my Feb 22nd post...

A week later and I have had ZERO disconnects.  6+ hours of driving.  This is such a HUGE RELIEF!  The fix for me was to use this USB adapter.  I plug the adapter into the USB port of my car, then I plug my phone into the USB adapter using a USB-C to USB-C cable.

As with an earlier poster, this adapter seems to have worked for me.  It's only been one day, but zero disconnects after about an hour of driving.  That included a couple of stops along the way where I would turn off the car (2018 Audi A4).

CableCreation USB3.1 USB C Adapter:

I'll post an update after a full week.

I'm experiencing the same issue. It sometimes seems related to the network status - if I lose signal or change from 5G to LTE.

Having same issue with it crashing every like 10-15 seconds with my Seat tarraco 2019

I have the same issue with my Hyundai i30 2021.
I use android auto through Bluetooth and it keeps crashing.
I have reset my car system, cleared cache on my auto app, I have also reset my Bluetooth connection twice as well.
It's the android auto app that keeps crashing, my phone is still connected through the Bluetooth and Hyundai infotainment, just cannot use android auto.
Please advise on next steps.

Same problem. I have tried 5 different cables, but my Pixel 6 keeps disconnecting and at this moment is not connecting at all with my car. Can you please let me know how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance.
