Google Maps Now Optimized for Right-Hand Drive Vehicles in Android Auto
Announcement
Hi Everyone,
We are making it easier to use Google Maps in Android Auto by placing the navigation bar and turn information closer to the driver in right-hand drive vehicles.
Users across the world using Android Auto in their vehicles will now see the user interface orient itself optimally, in layout and language, depending on whether you drive a left-hand drive vehicle or right-hand drive vehicle. Worry no more about struggling to use hard-to-reach buttons.
Currently this feature is implemented automatically with the option to choose the orientation of the display coming soon.
We've also fixed some issues associated with right-to-left languages for Google Maps in Android Auto so please take another look.
This feature will be available for all user worldwide using the latest version of Android Auto.
