Hi all,

Android Auto supports Widescreen display from Android Auto version 4.1 or later. It’s up to the car makers to support the feature. If you don’t see Android Auto UI optimized for the widescreen display of your car, we recommend you to contact the customer support of your car maker for more information. Thanks!

Your friendly fellow gearhead,

That would be so nice!
I really miss this function on my XC60.

Oh... that nice. You change the app for the worst way and my car company must solve the problem. Very good...

I have used the most updated version, but my new Mercedes Benz C class (w/ 10.25 inch screen) can't have wide screen display. However, it shows wide screen display on Carplay. Will have new update of Android auto to support it? Thanks.

I own an Alfa Romeo Stelvio MY19 with 8.8" wide screen display. It's very disappointing to see Android Auto only using 2/3 of the screen while wasting 1/3 with a boring useless logo :-(
Apple Carplay works fine using the complete display!
So PLEASE fix this issue quickly, there are so many cars with wide screen display now on the market and it can't be difficult to program!

Is there any news for this issue? I have a 2018 E400 Mercedes. The app only uses 2/3 of the screen, and there is a static Android Auto logo on the other third.
I contacted Mercedes and they state I need to wait on Android Auto update to fix this.

Same thing like for Dino Blaha. I have a 2018 E63S AMG S213, car software fully updated, Android Auto running on 2/3 of the screen. Mercedes saying that an update to AA is needed.
