Is anyone else experiencing new ridiculously inaccurate voice to text/ voice typing?

Thank God the whole random punctuation problem was resolved, at least for me, a few weeks ago with what must have been an update fix. But the last couple of weeks, the inaccuracies using voice typing are ridiculous. It's almost not worth dictating since I have to manually correct so much of the text. It has NEVER been this bad - this is new. Wondering if it's my microphone, or a more widespread problem? Anyone else experiencing a severe inaccuracy problem with understanding words and speech that was not a problem before, and NOT related to the punctuation nightmare? Thank you!

Okay....I just solved my problem. The update on my Samsung Galaxy s9 switched to Samsung Voice input. I put it back to Google Voice Typing and now it's good.

Settings> General Management> language and input> On Screen Keyboard > Manage keyboards>Google voice typing on (Samsung voice input off).

i am now understood again.

I'm so grateful that this conversation is happening and so recently. I keep getting frustrated with my phone's inability to learn and make adjustments, as well as making me sound like a loud British person in public! In order for my phone to understand me more consistently, I have to over enunciate and speak loud like I'm yelling at an old lady. Not the best when you are trying to not look spazzy during a pandemic.

Messenger is currently my main way to communicate, utilizing google voice to text as it seemed to work slightly better than the Samsung software. Many times I have had to clarify myself to people that I was not "off to get Heroine" but "off to get Arwyn" my daughter. Why is this software not more adaptive, especially to its user? Why is there no option to teach the program the common names in my life? Is the Samsung program better? Google knows a whole lot about me and everyone I associate with. Why is that not transferring into voice to text services that don't play stupid?

When I search for articles on the subject I can infer that freeware voice to text may be pressured to not be too good as to not damage the dragon dictation company that costs $300. Otherwise, I cannot imagine Google would be this bad at something. It's almost cathartic watching people use dragon after fighting with my phone.

I have nothing but problems with the Samsung Voice keyboard. Google Voice Keyboard seems okay. Although it does have problems catching up. It seems like if you disconnect it from any wifi or bluetooth that it seems to catch up and stay caught up. I don't know why that has anything to do with it, maybe some bad coding? Also another problem is the word "I" seems to be replaced with "you".. pretty much all pronouns are plug and play according to the G-voice keyboard now that I'm thinking about it. Please fix.

I am so thankful to know this is not me sometimes I say the word she and it turns out you I'm constantly correcting everything. I always enjoyed voice to text is there any way to fix this? I've tried Google and Samsung I have an S10 e Android... I consider this feature a luxury but now I'm constantly correcting or making excuses to my friends so they won't think I'm illiterate

I have been searching for a long time for a list of commands that I can use on the keyboard. For example there has to be a list of voice commands for punctuation and things like that. Like for example I don't know which command to use to hit the enter button. I have to physically hit the enter button. So there must be a list of commands somewhere that I can use that'll show me better how to use the voice to text.
