Control notifications on Android XR

Based on the notifications that you want to receive, you can change the settings for certain apps or for your whole Android XR device.

Find notifications

1. On your Android XR device, open the home screen.
   • If you aren't sure how to open the home screen, learn how to navigate on your Android XR device.
2. At the top, select Notifications .
3. To find notifications, scroll.
   • To expand a notification: select Expand.
   • To remove a notification: select Close.
   • To remove all notifications: select Clear.

Manage app notifications

1. On your Android XR device, open the settings app.
   • If you aren't sure how to open the settings app, learn how to navigate on your Android XR device.
2. Select Notifications App notifications.
3. Beside the app that you want to manage notifications for, turn the toggle on or off.

Manage the Do Not Disturb option

1. On your Android XR device, open the settings app.
   • If you aren't sure how to open the settings app, learn how to navigate on your Android XR device.
2. Select Notifications Do Not Disturb.
3. Turn Do Not Disturb on or off.

To get calls or messages when Do Not Disturb is on:

1. Under 'Allow during Do Not Disturb', select Calls or Messages.
2. You can select to allow:
   • All
   • Contacts only
   • Favourite contacts only
   • None
