This article helps you set up your Android XR device for the first time or after a factory reset.
Important:

- Make sure that your device has enough charge or plug it into a power adaptor before setup.
- If you aren't sure which power adaptor to use, contact your device manufacturer.
Set up your device
Important: When not in use, unplug your device from the battery or turn it off. The device drains the battery if left plugged in and unattended.
- Place the headset on your head.
- Adjust the straps for a secure fit.
- To adjust the headset, follow the on-screen instructions.
- If you're having trouble getting your device to fit properly, contact your device manufacturer.
- For best visual clarity, follow the on-screen instructions to adjust the lens.
- Select your preferred language.

- Select your country.
- Follow the remaining on-screen instructions.
- Review the safety info.
Connect to Wi-Fi and sign in to your accounts
During set up, you can choose to copy accounts and info or set up manually. If you choose to set up manually, follow the on-screen instructions.
- Select your preferred Wi-Fi network.
- If needed, enter the password.
- Sign in with your Google Account.
- This provides access to apps and content.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Install recommended apps.
Finalise your setup
