Need Help Figuring Out Cross-Domain Tracking Implementation Issue 1 Recommended Answer 2 Replies 9 Upvotes

Source domain: www.ridersplus.com/ (Page: www.ridersplus.com/get-a-quote/ )

Cross-domain implemented using GTM, allowLinker set to true, cookie domain set to ridersplus.com,
auto-link domain set to webrater.appliedsystems.com, referral exclusion - ridersplus.com. Using the same analytics property

Linker seems to work as _GA parameter is added to URL.

But still, the data is reported twice as all traffic to target domain is reported as direct.

Any idea where the issue can be? Need a place to start trouble-shooting.

Thank you so much, Bronwyn V.

Gives me a place to start.
I will talk to the developer to have the analytics snippet removed and make the changes suggested.
