Finding a better way to track conversion in GA due to many complications. 0 Recommended Answers 0 Replies 0 Upvotes
We monetize the site by using affiliate links. The actual conversions occur when our users take a loan from the advertiser's site. We get a commission on the conversion usually 30 days after the conversion occurs.
Each affiliate network sends us a monthly report, and we additionally get all the aggragated conversion/revenue data via API via the strackr.com service. We also use redtrack.com to set-up S2S postback of individual conversions but this is not fully implemented yet (only some offers in few markets)
Due to those complications when it comes to conversions, in GA we currently count as a conversion only the affiliate offer redirects (using the regex */redirect*) and assign an approximate average conversion value to each of these click/redirects.
Is there a good way for reporting?
